Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Creamy Parmesan Shells
Ingredients
For the Steak Bites
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-size cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
For the Creamy Parmesan Shells
- 8 oz medium shell pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ½ cup reserved pasta water
Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta
- Boil shell pasta in salted water until al dente.
- Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
2. Make the Steak Bites
- Pat steak dry and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
- Sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
- Lower heat and add butter and garlic.
- Toss for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Sprinkle with parsley and remove from skillet.
3. Make the Parmesan Shells
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
- Add pasta and toss until coated.
- Use reserved pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.
4. Serve
- Plate creamy shells and top with garlic butter steak bites.
- Garnish with extra Parmesan and parsley.
