- 1 loaf French bread or garlic bread (pre-made or homemade)
- 2–3 cloves garlic (or garlic butter)
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- ½–¾ cup pizza sauce (or marinara)
- 1–1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1–2 tomatoes (sliced)
- Fresh basil leaves
- Salt & black pepper
- Optional: balsamic glaze, chili flakes

- Prep the base
Slice bread in half lengthwise.
Brush with olive oil or garlic butter. - Toast lightly
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 5–7 minutes until slightly crispy. - Add sauce & cheese
Spread pizza sauce evenly.
Top generously with mozzarella. - Bake again
Return to oven and bake for 8–10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. - Add Caprese topping
Place fresh tomato slices on top.
Sprinkle salt and black pepper. - Finish fresh
Add basil leaves after baking.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze if using.
