### **Garlic Butter Lobster & Scallops**
**Servings:** 2
**Time:** 20 minutes
#### **Ingredients:**
* 2 lobster tails (or 1 lb lobster meat, shelled)
* 8–10 sea scallops, patted dry
* 4 tbsp butter
* 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 tbsp olive oil
* ½ tsp paprika (optional, for color)
* Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
* 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
* 1–2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
—
#### **Instructions:**
1. **Prepare seafood:**
* Pat scallops and lobster tails dry. This ensures a nice sear.
* If using lobster tails, split them in half lengthwise for even cooking.
2. **Sear scallops:**
* Heat 1 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
* Add scallops, season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
* Sear 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove scallops and set aside.
3. **Cook lobster:**
* In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic.
* Sauté garlic 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
* Add lobster tails (cut side down if halved) and cook 3–4 minutes per side until opaque and cooked through.
4. **Combine & finish:**
* Return scallops to the pan, drizzle with lemon juice, sprinkle parsley, and gently toss to coat in garlic butter.
5. **Serve immediately:**
* Great over a bed of sautéed spinach, zucchini noodles, or cauliflower rice for a low-carb option.
