Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake
Ingredients
Fruit Layer
- 2 cans strawberry pie filling
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cheesecake Layer
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cake Layer
- 1 box yellow or white cake mix
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
Optional Toppings
- Fresh strawberries
- Whipped cream
- Crushed graham crackers
Instructions
1. Prepare the Baking Dish
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Add the Strawberry Layer
- Spread strawberry pie filling evenly in the dish.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
3. Make the Cheesecake Layer
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls over the strawberry filling and lightly swirl.
4. Add the Cake Mix
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top.
- Drizzle melted butter across the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
5. Bake
- Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
6. Cool & Serve
- Let cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
- Top with whipped cream, fresh strawberries, or graham cracker crumbs.
Tips
- For extra cheesecake flavor, add a few cubes of cream cheese throughout the cake.
- White cake mix gives a lighter flavor; yellow cake mix tastes richer.
- Best served warm with vanilla ice cream.
